Do you pierce children’s earlobes?

Yes! We are happy to pierce earlobes for children 8 years of age and up. Being pierced by an APP member is a safe and sterile alternative to “gun” style piercings available at shopping centers. Piercings done with a gun are extremely dangerous because the plastic guns cannot be sterilized between clients and can therefore transmit blood-borne pathogens, like Hepatitis B and HIV from one client to the next. The one-size-fits-all jewelry available at these businesses is inappropriate for most clients and the blunt earring causes excess trauma to the skin, causing healing issues. The “piercer” in these establishments are simply mall staff and with minimal training. To ensure the safest and cleanest piercing for your little one, only trust an APP piercer.

For a list of required documents to bring with you to your appointment, please see our above post.

We are available to pierce children’s earlobes Monday - Saturday by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, just give us a call at 928.213.8590.

Please keep in mind that with fresh piercings, children must stay out of shared water (swimming pools, lakes, creeks, etc.) for at least two full months. To avoid conflicts with your summer time adventures, we recommend getting pierced in the late fall, winter, and early spring.
